Gil Dindo “Dindo” Ocampo Berino is a 51-year old businessman, a leader, a husband to Ms. Kristina Socoro “Tina” Ramos and a father to their three children namely – Karl, Kara and Kyle. His parents are Gavino Berino and Nenita Ocampo who originated from Dagami, Leyte but Governor Dindo is currently living in Cabanatuan with his wife and family.He graduated Elementary at V & G dela Cruz Memorial Elementary School in Tacloban City, High School at Sacred Heart Seminary in Palo, Leyte, and graduated College at Divine University in Tacloban City which he took up Bachelor of Arts Major in Philosophy.

A born leader that he is, during his school days, he became the Student Council Vice President of Sacred Heart Seminary, Supreme Student Council President of the Divine Word University in Tacloban, Grand Chancellor of Alpha Phi Omega International Service Fraternity and Sorority. He also became the President of the Rotaract Club of San Juanico.

Professionally, he worked as the Former District Manager of Novartis Healthcare Philippines, Incorporated and he was also the Former Specialist District Manager of Pfizer Philippines Inc.

He received many prestigious awards such as Product Specialist of the Year at Pharmacia Phils., Inc. in 2001, Man of the Year at Pfizer, Inc. in 2005, Most Outstanding District Manager of the Year at Novartis Philippines in 2009, Top Manager of the Year at Novartis Phils., Inc. in 2014, a Grand Prize Winner Values in Action Video Making Contest with Entry on Integrity Novartis Asia Pacific in 2015 and 2016 and many more awards.In November 21, 2014, he became a Charter member and the 1st President Elect of the Rotary Club of Cabanatuan North in the Rotary Year 2014 – 2015. He was the Best Class President of his Club. And on that year, he spearheaded Rotary District 3770 Family Day in Baler, Aurora. And due to his excellent leadership, he was appointed to be the Chairman of DISTAS 2016 and DISTAS 2017. He was also appointed as All-Star Deputy District Governor RY 2016-2017 by then Gov. George Bunuan and was appointed as Great Senior Deputy Governor, RY 2017-2018 by District Governor Narciso Salunat. 30 years ago, he was also the President of the Rotary Club of San Juanico, then District 386 and now known as District 3860.

He also became part of the Board of Director of Alpha Phi Omega, Alpha Omicron Alumni Association of Region VIII, became the President of Sacred heart Seminary Alumni Association, and Formator of Knights of Columbus of Nueva Ecija, Pangasinan and Aurora Provinces.

He is part of the Parish Pastoral Council as an Executive Officer of Our Mother of Perpetual Help Parish, Dambana, Cabanatuan City from 2015 up to now. He also became the Chairman and has been part of the Service Committee for 12 years.

Currently, he is the Director of Regina Assumpta Kids Academy, Inc. and the Senior Deputy Governor of Rotary International District 3770. He is also an Onion Trader and an Educator as he still works as a Consultant in the Pharmaceutical Industry.
